See HISTORY.DOC for changes since Version 1.0. Otherwise, Enhanced End of
Message is a PPE which replaces your end of message prompt with a nice and
attractive hotkey and lightbar driven prompt. Since this was written in PPL
3.0, you must be running PCBoard 15.2+ in order to use this.

| 2. Installation |
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
If you are upgrading from v1.0, simply replace the old EEOM.PPE.
Simply run INSTALL.BAT or you can manually edit your PCBTEXT and have
prompts 197 and 612 point to this ppe. IE: !C:\PCB\PPE\EEOM\EEOM.PPE
For those of you who beta tested this and are a running a copy of EEOM
prior to this release, please replace your old EEOM.PPE.
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
| 3. Configuration |
+-----------------------------------------------------------------------------+
Edit EEOM.CFG to change the two options available inside. Edit LB.CFG for
text and colours associated with the lightbars. Edit STRINGS.CFG for all text
strings and prompts which get printed. Each file is rather small and could
have been put in one big file, but it is more organized in this manner.
Edit EEOM.PCB for the header that is displayed before the main command
prompt is printed.
The PPE will still function without any of these files, as then it will
use the built-in defaults. However, it most likely clash with your board's
colour scheme. :)

Just about every PCB system I'm on uses either CEOM or an old CIA Footer
ppe. CEOM by MS is nice and all, but seeing either 3 or 4 lines for a prompt
such as this drove me nuts. As for the CIA Footer ppe, it just wasn't very
configurable. So hence, I broke down and wrote this out of fear of going
insane.
If you wish to have the source, simply ask me for it. The PPE itself is
about as configurable as you can make it, so I do not anticipate many requests.
Otherwise, if you need to reach me for some reason, you can send internet
email to "drew@xinet.com", or leave me a message on Attitude Net, or call my
board: The Silicon Phalanx at 310-575-8567 and apply for access.
Peace,
